finally, after a few weeks of stressful amount of workload, I'm back to the blog! welcome October, I always love October, because it's Bboo's Month, move over Virgo, it's Libra time! September was really-really rough, so I beg you, October, please be nice to me

It's been 3 months since Marchella went to Japan, and I've been keeping a list of food we should try when later we meet, so today I'm gonna share our Bakmi, Movie, and Vintage restaurant date!

It was a sunny Sunday, and the weather feels perfect for us to go stroll in a park, so we decided to go to a communal space (our go-to communal space) Como Park!, we were craving some bakmi too, so we pick Demie Bakmi as our 1st Stop! btw Marchella introduces Demie Bakmie to me (hey it's rhyme!) and I absolutely love it! It's cheap and flavorful, and they serve you a good portion of Bakmi, I recommend you pair the Bakmi with a glass of Liang Teh, it's an epitome of a perfect Sunday Bakmi Time.

she prepared a gift for me, it's a skincare product, kudos to her for packing the product with those little handcraft stars ♥ love it, and it's not Marchella if she's not spraying her perfume on the gift 😂

Now its Bakmie time!!

We ordered bakmi ayam rebus with bakso (our usual go-to-menu) and demie lebar daging cincang (its their special menu), I should order bakmi ayam rebus, instead of their so-called special menu (which is not special in my case, per se) anyway we had lunch together, it was good and it was a little special moment for me because through food, we shared our bond, damn I'm starting to tear up, I want to go to Japan and have breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day with Marchella.

after we finished our Bakmi Lunch, we talk and enjoy the excellent Sunday breeze for a while before we go to our 2nd destination! Movie date at Grand Indonesia! but its not Efan and Marchella if we didn't go to a coffee shop, so before the movie start, we pay a little visit to Arabica, it's our first time trying Arabica in Indonesia (she already tried Arabica in HK) and honestly, it was okay, but since its bboo's treat, I feel like I'm sipping a magic love potion :))

totally in awe with the store interior, the design is clean and sharp, using white and gold colors as the scheme of the interior gives the coffee shop a luxury and modern ambiance, pretty!

we're watching Broker because IU is the main actress in this movie, Marchella asked me if I want to see Broker or not, and I told her I really really want to watch Broker. Since Hirokazu Koreeda is the director of this movie, I guess it's safe to say that Broker is one of the best movie in 2022, IU really nailed her role as a mother who wants to sell her kid but found a life lesson along the journey, it's a beautiful movie with a great life lesson. by the way, I really love how Koreeda directs the movie as well, I'm not an expert, but I love the cinematography of this movie, it's a great movie if you're feeling pent up and want a good night cry session.

After the movie, we recharge ourselves with a cup of Banban and talk about the movie for a while.

and finally, we arrived at our last stop for the day, it's Kikugawa! its an old vintage Japanese restaurant, opened in 1969, so they've been serving authentic Japanese food for 53 years, that's crazy! they even preserve the building and interior, so we can totally feel the vintage vibe, it's borderline creepy and comfortable for me hahaha

we ordered a salmon steak set, a beef sukiyaki set, and a portion of gyoza and tamagoyaki, and Boom! it was one of the most delicious meals I've ever taste, the salmon are cooked perfectly, the sukiyaki (even though it's a little bit too sweet for me) was great, and the gyoza is like a finishing touch to complete our dinner that night. Oh! don't forget the Tamagoyaki too! it was fluffy and sweet, one of the best tamagoyaki I've ever taste. Fun fact! Marchella need to eat an egg dish once a day to prevent her from transforming into hulk-mode. if she skip her egg-meal, then i need to prepare for her wrath.

after we had our dinner, we went back home and enjoy each other company before we close the day.

by the way, before I wrap this post, I just want to say that throughout that day, I felt totally struck by bboo's makeup and outfit that day, she is usually stunning, but that day, it feels different and I love it when she's enjoying her time going on a date with me, being in a long-distance relationship is sucks, both of us are occupied with our routine nowadays, and we barely got time to catch up with each other, but I believe we can go through this safely! I'm looking forward to meeting you, Boo. ♥ 

it's a hard and stressful ride, but it's worth it.

every second I spent with you was worth my time.
