5.446 KM

Hi! today is 8th October 2022 and my #8 post is dedicated to the one that I love in the entire universe! 

Happy Marchella's day!! sadly, we're 5.446KM apart from each other right now 😢 so I'm celebrating her birthday online!

Everyone knows how hectic Friday night around Jakarta is, and I'm one of those guys who get stuck in traffic, I was so stressed because I haven't bought a cake to celebrate her birthday, meanwhile, I need to finish the video because I want to congratulate her right on 00.00 AM JST, so I use gofood to order the cake and drive patiently to my house.

it's 00.00 AM, it's already the 8th of October in Japan and I called her right away!

ordered a dessert box, I've been looking for a lemon flavor but there's nowhere to find =(

and after she made a wish, we blow the candle together and talk while we eat, she ended up making a sandwich with her brand new red bean jam.

it's funny to celebrate the birthday together online, too bad my internet has been acting up weird these past few days, so sometimes i only see her through 480p video quality (well, this is sad) btw I made a video for her birthday too, it's not much (and even contains typos) but I'm glad she loved it ♥

there's a drama involved in the making of this video, I've been preparing this video since the first of October, but got caught up because of work, so yesterday as soon as I arrived home, I'm editing the final touch for the video, I added lo-fi music to the video to make it more "aesthetically pleasing" but.. somehow my software messing with me, and I managed to render it around 11.50 pm (JST) and what made it worse that I realize a typo on the video right after I send this video to her, but luckily she's happy with it, it's like all the effort to make the backgrounds, etc were paid off by her smile.

I add Enough by Oohyo to this playlist too, because personally, I feel like this is the song that fits what my heart feels towards her, furthermore, the song was released on 8 October 2020, talking about coincidence, right?

and throwback time! 

This is the first time we're having a video call, since she hasn't got her sim card for the internet ready yet, I woke up super early that day to make jenius card so I can treat her to coffee, but shit happens lol (but we still had coffee together, though) she visited Starbucks in Umeda, meanwhile, I visited the one in Summarecon Mall Bekasi, technically we're in Starbucks together, it's just the store was different :")

this is our first long-distance movie date, we're watching purple heart, and it was okay, so yeah.. it was alright lol

and a throwback to our long-distance coffee and bread date! she ordered her favorite anbata and I'm having a sandwich

being in a long-distance relationship is kinda funny, what we normally do together side by side, because of distance, we have to do it together but separately, and the internet became our #1 buddy so we can communicate daily and feel close even though we're separated by lands and oceans.

I hope next year, we can celebrate your birthday together, just like when you celebrated mine back in June (spoiler for an upcoming post) we will find a big and tasty lemon cake, just like the one in Dia Coffee for your next birthday!  Enjoy your 27th bb, I'm glad to be a part of your journey in this lifetime.
